Answer: No, Dylon Pods are harmless to your washing machine; just ensure a wash at 40°C afterwards. -

Would it dye chiffon?
Answer: Not if polyester or other synthetic fibre, no. Dylon machine dyes only dye natural fabrics and blends. You would need something like Rit DyeMore for Synthetics, which needs to be dyed fully submersed, very carefully in a large pan of boiling water. -

Do you need to use salt?
Answer: Just follow the instructions on the pack, no salt needed. -

Do I need to add salt with this product?

Answer: I am sorry can't answer this question don't have a washer dryer, does not leave any residue in a washer. -

If I use intense black will it bring polyester up grey, which is what I'm after?
Answer: I'm pretty sure that's a no. You *might* get grey if it's a polyester mix, e.g. polyster/cotton, but pure polyester will not absorb any dye, it'll just wash straight out. Personally I wouldn't risk it, you have a high chance of ruining the item. -

I got bleach on black jeans, so would this work to cover up the bleach stain?
Answer: I covered a bleach mark on a black linen skirt but the colour seems to be fading after numerous washes. Worth a try. -

Answer: Yes. I dyed my rather tired black jeans .... they had faded ... now jet black again thanks to this dye. -

I have a pistachio coloured coat. Can I dye it grey?
Answer: Yes, but remove the present dye with Dylon Pre-dye. It will reduce the pistachio colour. Cotton or cotton rich only. -

Would one pod be enough to dye a white king size duvet olive green?
Answer: Yes. I dyed my cream double duvet, and it was more than enough.
