The router is loud, and it's better to use hearing-protecting earmuffs. The tool is made in Mexico with US parts. One concern is the temperature, as it gets very warm while in use, which may take twice as long to cool off. Customers appreciated it was dependable and suitable for household projects. One user had a problem with their tool within three months, but Dewalt did send a replacement at no cost and stood behind their product, which is rare nowadays.
