Cleaning it after each use is recommended to prevent in-grown hairs and pimples. It is not recommended to use it on areas other than the face. It can be difficult to see the tiny arrows on the metal parts, but once the user figures out which way to rotate the coils, it works effectively to remove fine hair without causing redness or irritation to sensitive skin.
