It comes with all the necessary hardware and instructions, and the installation process is straightforward. The adhesive is necessary to hold the rack in place and prevent it from bouncing while in use. However, the rack is not compatible with all types of vans. It will not fit a 3500 Sprinter van or Airstream unless the door is very close in size to the door on a ProMaster. It will probably fit on a Ford Transit van with rear windows, but it is not recommended for a high roof. It is not compatible with a Nissan NV 200.
