    répondre: They should've come with two different length screws..... 2 long, 2 regular. If you're uncomfortable to attempt using the longer screws, I'd take it to your local luthier.

    répondre: My guess would be the seller. Although Schaller makes versions of strap locks in many finishes, only 1 is gold.

    répondre: Actually, I believe they come in both chrome as well as nickel. Also gold, and black.

    répondre: It is a set of 2. They are my favorite strap locks. Very dependable with fantastic longevity!
  • question: Will this system work on my Rickenbacker 4003 Bass?

    répondre: It depends on the size of the screw holes in your bass now. The screws are connected to the tuners so you cannot use your existing screws. They fit perfectly in my Les Paul though.
  • question: Do these locks have a removable screw, as the older Schallers all had? And if so, are they available in nickel or stainless steel?

    répondre: Mine had a removable set screw. I think they are available in 3-4 finishes to include nickel and gold. Unknown about stainless steel.
